Eimac 75tl Single Triode
My latest signed original... with complete honesty I can say that it is my favorite piece yet. I value transparency and dynamics because they convey the expression and emotion of music. This amplifier delivers these in waves... I am happy.
SE 50's...
or VT51 -> VT52.. or 10 -> 300b... or 841 -> 50... or anything in between... for these amplifiers I received another request to use my variable filament supply on some very fine tubes... 300b's. VT52's, and 50's... I added direct coupling... nickel output transformers... nickel plate chokes... oil capacitors... for a resultant eighty pounds each... and now to see *deeply* into the music...
GM70 Push Pull
you read that correctly... push pull from a single-ended purist... and all the extras I could: mercury rectifiers, nickel interstage transformers, amorphous outputs... and you know what? it is clean, clear and musical... if you are in love with a speaker that needs real power, this may be your answer....
Intonation
Boldy choose to follow that DHT sound full-tilt. Commission an amplifer that is DHT driving DHT - the type 10 driving the type 50. Five watts of incredible transparency and tone, tone, tone....

The title given to a series of active loaded parallel feed amplifiers that I have built
because they left me with the feeling of, "I give up." They are the
fastest amplifiers I have ever heard... the catch - 2.5 watts maximum. If you
can live (live, indeed!) with under 3 watts, these deserve every consideration.
Available as an integrated or a traditional amp, their flavor changes slightly
with the driver stage. The amp version wowwed the crowds at VSAC 2003 driving the
Exhilaration horn speakers.

The Chase
The latest version of the amp that all of my grad school and job evasion friends request. It has grown into much more than the single chassis compromise of its early days. Even the power supply is split between channels after the first stage. The version shown was an upgrade version using the TJ 300b to produce 8 watts.

This is an amplifier that Peter Clark of Redpoint Audio Design commissioned. We had loosely talked about that DHT sound for movies and he followed through! That big 300b sound and the clarity from lack of processing makes for serious movie fun....
