
If we have learned from amplifier evaluation that high resistance is bad for the
sound, then why would we use it in a delicate low level phono stage?
We wouldn't! 99% of all phono stages use RC networks for RIAA correction.
Elimintating that large series resistance and replacing it with an LCR network has
resulted in greatly improved dynamics.
